Hot on the heels of the recent, and rather fabulous, ‘Thriller Nights’, singers in Surrey Harmony have been put through their paces once again during their autumn coaching weekend.
The talented coach, producer, choir leader and singer, Doug Harrington, spent the weekend of 7th/8th November working with Surrey Harmony on their energetic and exciting competition up-tune, Joint is Jumpin’, as well as on the beautiful, and contemporary, ‘One Day Like This’ by Elbow.
There was much ‘reaching for the stars’ and boundless enthusiasm amongst all members and the results were stunning to hear. Now to consolidate and practice, practice, practice!
Surrey Harmony looks forward to sharing these songs with audiences in forthcoming concerts, but for now are mainly just having a bit of a rest after all the hard work of the weekend!
