Technology and a Twix – a tale of two Surrey
Superstars There’s more to running a Chorus the size of Surrey Harmony than just
turning up on a Wednesday to sing. In 2007 at our AGM we introduced a

Party games, mind reading and a slow motion murder of your fellow Chorus members doesn’t exactly sound like a weekend of hard work on a competition package. But we work and play hard at a Surrey Harmony retreat.
Leaving the frightful January weather outside we sequestered

“I won’t settle for anything other than your very best, every time”. That’s what coach Peggy Gram told us as we embarked on inspirational two nights working with her on our contest songs.
Her quietly commanding style had us working our socks off over two consecutive nights.
But as well as hard work, there were plenty of laughs thanks to Peggy’s wonderful sense of humour.
