It's a moment that always creates butterflies in the stomach...

You know Convention can only be a short time away when the Order of Appearance is announced from Sweet Adelines Headquarters in Tulsa. This time we are virtually in the middle of the contest - in 8th position. That means will be able to see and hear plenty of other Choruses which is always very interesting.

Our Regional Competition this year is being staged at the Symphony Hall in Birmingham. Our very own baritone Emma Riley is now the Competition Co-ordinator, so she's already visited the Hall to check it out. 

During construction the acoustician worked directly with the architect and, through this unusual process, they achieved the creation of the fifth best concert hall in the world, built specifically for acoustic recital. Emma describes it as "awesome". So we are really looking forward to singing there.
