Surrey Harmony raise the roof in Uckfield
on Aug 14 in News tagged by abbotj09A fantastic night was had by all as Surrey Harmony brought Barbershop to the Final Show of the Uckfield Festival.
UK Leading women’s Barbershop Chorus were delighted to appear at the Proms night show of the Uckfield Fastival this summer. With a mixture of traditional Concert Brass, modern Opera with Jo Appleby and Surrey Harmony’s usual dazzle and flair, the evening proved to eb a real success.
The chorus performed 2 sets of their dynamic repertoir and then joined together with The Uckfield Concert Brass and soloist Jo Appleby for a raising rendition of the Proms Classics; Jerusalem, Rule Britannia and Land of Hope and Glory. It was an excellent end to a fantastic week of music in Uckfield.
